- 1998 - IMS was the first to offer practice management computer systems, consulting services and reporting/billing services specialized to orthodontists.
- 1998 - First to integrate document scanning systems to automate correspondence for Health/History, Initial Exam and TMJ Exam questionnaires, TMJ Narratives for Insurance processing.
- 1999 - IMS was the first and only software to completely automate the integration of diagnosis & images within correspondence from Sonic 3-D Digitizing & Digigraph.

- 1999 - Release of Windows version of IMS software. Our existing clients were not charged any additional fees when upgraded from IMS DOS system to Windows.
- 2000 - Developed the IMS platform using terminal server to run multiple offices with multiple doctors, exceeding over 100 computers networked together without compromising speed.
- 2003 - Developed marketing relationship with GAC to better serve orthodontists by providing practice management seamlessly integrated with Vistadent for Advanced Imaging and OrthoMation for Patient Educations.
- 2004 - Release of IMS Document Manager—scan documents directly into IMS chart or financial ledger. Automatically save letters as PDF files directly in patient's chart.
- 2005 - Customized Treatment Panel—view images, x-rays, treatment plan and treatment notes all on one screen.
- 2005 - First to fully integrate with Tablet PCs for handwriting recognition. Patients can enter in health history information and sign their contracts directly on the tablet—again automatically saved!
- 2006 - First to seamlessly integrate with OrthoBanc for patient automated payments and deposits directly into your bank account
